Come enjoy some great white water and even better company in the round barn with an indoor bonfire! This is a Hoosier annual favorite and we have a cabin with plenty of room reserved for our group.
WHITE HOUSE CABIN (click for photo) - Located at lower camp on the left as you're driving into Camp Caesar, this cabin has 2 double beds, 11 bunks, and full kitchen area and can accommodate up to 13 guests. Bring your own bed linens or sleeping bag and pillow. The cabin is reserved for our group on Friday and Saturday nights. Camp Caesar will also allow anyone from our group who's paddling on Friday to stay in the cabin on Thursday night. (Note: if parking is tight along the road, there's plenty of parking available around the other side.)
Depending on skill level and preference, paddlers can enjoy trips on local rivers and streams including the Elk, Top Gauley, Williams, Back Fork of Elk, Miracle Mile of the Meadow, etc. Note that water temperatures are still likely to be cold, so dress accordingly for the river.
There are no race competitions this year, but they’re still throwing a party at the Council Circle at Camp Caesar on Saturday evening with a blazing fire, live music, libations and more.
Camp Caesar will also serve a hot breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday morning.
Please email Jordan Ross (jordanross@mac.com) to let him know you're coming or if you have any questions.
Jordan has paid for the cabin and would greatly appreciate a $20 per person (for the weekend) contribution to offset the cost.
