Event Site

The festival grounds are located at the Summersville Fairgrounds.

There are a lot of camping and lodging options in the Summersville & Fayetteville areas.  I will be camping at the Outpost in Fayetteville, WV.  If you plan to stay at the Outpost, I would book your site well in advance.

Campground Site

Requirements: class V boating skills; bombproof combat roll if kayaking; kayak with air bags and/or raft or shredder.

Very Highly Encouraged: throw bag; break down or back up hand paddles if kayaking; spare paddle(s) if rafting; and a pin kit.

River Description: This is a serious, high-volume river. Both the Upper and Lower sections demand respect, preparedness, and solid boating skills.  See the river descriptions for more details.
