Driftwood River

Look forward to a fun trip for all skill levels. We start out on beautiful Sugar Creek at Furnas Mill which joins up with the Driftwood. Our take out is 14 miles downstream at Lowel Bridge near Columbus, Indiana. Be prepared with sunscreen, PFD, water, gloves and lunch in addition to your paddling gear. Beginners are welcome as long as they have the endurance for a longer paddle. Be aware that water levels in this area can change quickly. If there are any challenges, the trip leader will notify registered participants by 7 pm on June 16.

Meeting Time:     10 am

Meeting Location:     Shell Station just off I-65 at Exit 80 just north of Columbus. Once participants arrive we will caravan to Furnas Mill on Sugar Creek. 

Shuttle:     11 am shuttle leaves for Lowel Bridge

On Water:     Noon
