Please join the Hoosier Canoe and Kayak Club in an additional day of clean up of Little Raccoon Creek in beautiful Rockville, Indiana!   Our objective is in preparation for the club's annual Covered Bridge Fall paddle trip scheduled in October, to paddle the creek at lower than typical levels looking for hazards that may have been caused over the past year due to typical spring rains etc.  If we encounter any logjams and/or fallen trees causing a dangerous situation we will clear them out as best as we are able to make the river navigable.  Also we will pick up any trash that we can haul out in our boats. If volunteers have chainsaws, hand saws, trash bags, gloves, etc. please bring them.  

Lunch and drinking water will be provided for the volunteers by Toni Harris and John Gates.
