We are continuing our mantra Paddle More In '24! by packing this month's newsletter full of paddling trips and events. We've highlighted float rivers, lakes, whitewater and the ocean. Don't delay registering for these upcoming events.

TRAINING

Congratulations to all the HCKC members that completed Wilderness First Aid and CPR training the first weekend in February. We had 24 people learn the signs and symptoms of hypothermia and heat stroke. They also were trained in assessing the injured, taking vital signs, and performing CPR.

As boaters, one of the most important things we can do is to invest in ourselves by continuing to develop our skills. We are finalizing our 2024 training schedule so keep checking the calendar.
