2022 Spring Trip North Carolina

Location: Camping at Cedar Point Campground in the Croatan Coastal National Forest (Recreation.gov)

HCKC has not been to this location since 2015 so we are excited to announce this trip. The campground is at the junction of the White River and Bogue Sound, near the North Carolina Crystal Coast. Nearby Beaufort Inlet has many paddling destinations and is rich in history. Blackbeard ran his flagship, Queen Ann’s Revenge, aground in 1718 and restored artifacts can be seen in the Maritime Museum. 

A specific itinerary will be determined closer to the trip.

Campsites get difficult to reserve so, we recommend that you reserve a site if you consider joining us.
