WW: Stoney Creek Rendezvous

This is our schedule:  The release for the Rendezvous will be on FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.    FRIDAY RELEASE BEGAN AT 11 AM, AND HIT THE CANYON AT 2 PM.      Saturday/Sunday releases are normal releases beginning at 7 AM and hitting the canyon put-in by 10 am.

 Friday: We will have a downriver sprint race  on Friday evening from Carpenter’s Park to Greenhouse Park (class II+).  Registration at Carpenter’s Park from 5:30 to 6:00. Cost $20 (which includes a Stonycreek Rendezvous t-shirt). Race starts at 6:00 PM.  See our Race Page for more info.
Music: West Hills All Stars from 8:30 to 12:00

Saturday: We will have a SUP clinic from 11:00 to Noon at Greenhouse Park as well as a SUP race (registration starting at 3:00, no fee); the race runs 2:30 to 3:30 PM.
There will be a Freestyle Rodeo at Greenhouse Park. Registration at 2:30 PM. Rodeo starts at 3:30 PM (after the SUP race).   See our SUP Race & Demo Page for more info.
There will be a basket raffle with all sorts of great boating and outdoor gear Saturday evening (we even have a Jackson kayak). Raffle tickets will be sold from 4 till 7. Be sure to get your raffle tickets under the main pavilion or at the front gate.  Also: Ian Smith from Surf SUP will be premiering this year’s First Waves film at the first intermission of the evening.

Sunday:
Cleanup and Paddle.

Throughout the weekend we will have ongoing play in our Whitewater Park; opportunities to paddle the Stony Canyon on releases from the Quemahoning Reservoir, music Friday and Saturday evening; boating vendors on hand to replace any broken gear; and food vendors to fuel our guests. The Boy Scouts will be selling firewood. And a gear raffle Saturday evening.

 

COSTS : (from 2017, hopefully we can keep it the same)
Festival Entrance for the entire weekend : $10.00 Per person

Please note that this event is to raise money to promote the Stonycreek  and to pay for releases from Quemahoning Reservoir.  Donations are always welcome.

Camping for entire weekend : $10.00 Per person

The site is open to camping during the Rendezvous.  Please remember that this is a family event.  Dogs were welcome (but please clean up after your friends). 

And we would like to thank our campers for being great guests.  You help make our event a great success.
